VAXBaby 08: The Pertussis/Whooping Cough Vaccine

At your 2-month well-child visit, your doctor will measure your baby’s length, weight and head circumference. They’ll ask about any concerns you might have, and will expect to administer another dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine. If you didn’t watch the video on that already, I’d go back to that one first. Hepatitis B is a vaccine originally intended for adults at high risk of this obscure illness and was never intended for babies. Outside of the U.S., most other countries do not recommend this shot for infants.
